What’s been happening at Kenilworth Chiropractic Clinic?

We have had an amazing few months at the clinic, starting with Bex and Cindy climbing Mount Snowdon in early May. They raised a massive £885 for ‘Zoe’s Place’, the baby Hospice in Coventry. Thank you so much for all those that supported and donated to this brilliant cause!

Other exciting news; we know lots of you were lucky enough to see Fleetwood Mac recently on their latest UK tour, but did you know that Kenilworth Chiropractic Clinic were the Chiropractors on this tour? Our Dr Pete has been particularly busy travelling up and down the country looking after the band and Cindy and Tim also got involved with some of the London, Leeds and Manchester shows!

Pete was in Switzerland last weekend finalising his qualifications for the International Federation of Chiropractic Sportif, this is the highest qualification for a sports specialist in Chiropractic, making him one of only 10 Chiropractors in the country to be working at this level! Keep up the good work Pete!

Bex and Pete have also been doing a fantastic job putting the riders back together for the Suzuki Motocross Team at different events across the county and will continue to keep up the work over the summer.

Chiro training in Belgium! Lots of fun was had by all on our recent staff excursion to Antwerp, Ghent and Bruges. We used the time away to focus on how we can create a great customer experience, so please be sure to let us know how we are doing!

Early June saw the start of festival season for us, with us attending both the Lions Grand Show and the Leamington Peace Festival. Despite the rain we had an incredibly busy weekend helping and advising people with their aches and pains and we now look forward to welcoming an amazing 67 new patients to the clinic as a result of these events!

Finally a massive thank you to anyone affected by recent appointment reschedules due to all of the busy goings on as a result of these events and courses etc. Although we always endeavour to forward plan we are very grateful for your patience when we need to make the odd last minute change to the diary.

***FREE CAR SEAT CHECK*** With the summer holidays approaching, why not get your car seat checked before you set off to make sure your spine is aligned correctly. This service is available to anyone (not just Chiropractic patients), just ask a Chiropractor.

Courtyard Footcare

This Spring, the Podiatrists have been busy attending courses and seminars…

  • Leigh has started studying for his Masters in Podiatry which will ultimately extend his scope of practice. So far he has covered steroid injection therapy and health conditions that can put the health of people’s feet at risk. We look forward to benefitting from his new skills.
  • Kate Harrison spent an interesting and packed 24 hours in Southport, attending the Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists AGM and Conference. She attended a range of lectures, had a chance to see the latest products and equipment at the trade show, and met up with colleagues from around the country.

Now the sun has finally come out (with a vengeance!) rough dry skin can become more of a problem as we throw away the socks and don flipflops or strappy sandals.
There are a huge variety of foot creams on the market, but not all of them contain the magic ingredient that can combat dry, flaky skin. To find out more about this wonder ingredient, read Kate’s article here.

***Don’t forget that we offer a Free Foot Health Check to anyone that has a foot related query. We will do our best to inform and advise you, and get you booked in for treatment if necessary.***

Often in therapy we discover that the only thing that had been holding you back… had been ‘YOU’. Your ‘inner you’. The ‘self-image’ that you have of yourself inside your mind. To read this article in full, please click here.
